Miriam Duarte graduated in 1982 from the Academy of Hair & Skin in New Orleans, which was one of the top 10 schools in the country at the time. She also attended the International Institute of Skin in Miami, and later completed advance training on beta-carotene skin exfoliating at a seminar that examined the procedure’s theory and practice.
Duarte later finished advanced training with Methode Physiodermie products. Always looking to further her knowledge of esthetics, she went to Montreal to take the V.I.P. Paramedical Esthetician course on the latest products and treatments for anti-aging prevention and premature aging.
Duarte enjoyed tenures at Saks Fifth Avenue, the Albert Brown Salon in New Orleans, and Gerardo Spiota Salon in New York City. In 2003, she moved to Sarasota and has opened the doors to Perfect Skin and Body Care, where she provides the best in skin care treatments in a relaxing environment.
